August 26, 2017 - Bruening Records a Pair of Podium Finishes
Friday evening brought Tyler Bruening to Farley Speedway (Farley, Iowa) for the Casey’s General Stores Season Championships. In a field of 19 Super Late Models, Tyler improved two positions in his heat to capture the heat race victory. Earning the 6th-starting spot for the opening night feature, Bruening passed four cars to place 2nd behind Justin Kay with Jeremiah Hurst, Nick Marolf, and Jeff Aikey rounding out the Top 5.

The following night with 11 Super Late Models on hand at West Liberty Raceway (West Liberty, Iowa), Bruening landed a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Jonathan Brauns positioning him 10th on the starting grid for the A-Main. Breaking into a podium spot, Tyler Bruening charged through the field eight positions landing a 2nd place finish behind Chad Holladway with Nick Marolf, Kevin Kile, and Jonathan Brauns completing the Top 5 finishers.

August 18, 2017 - Tyler Bruening Bags Fifth Win of the Season at Farley
Piloting the Skyline Materials #16 Super Late Model, Tyler Bruening traveled to Farley Speedway (Farley, Iowa) on Friday evening for the regular night of racing. Passing four cars in his heat, Bruening captured a 10-lap heat race win earning him the 6th-starting position for the A-Main. Outrunning the 14-car field in the 25-lapper, Tyler Bruening soared to his fifth win of the season over Justin Kay, Nick Marolf, Andy Eckrich, and Doug Nigh.

August 8, 2017 - Pair of Top 10 Finishes With Corn Belt Clash Series
Following the Corn Belt Clash Late Model Series, Tyler Bruening was one of 19 cars signed in at Farley Speedway (Farley, Iowa) on Monday night for the $10,000 top prize. After laying down the tenth fastest time in qualifying, Bruening recorded a 5th place finish in his heat race positioning him 14th on the starting grid for the feature. On Tuesday night with 16 cars on hand at West Liberty Raceway (West Liberty, Iowa), Tyler secured his spot into the $10,000-to-win A-Main with a 2nd place finish in his heat race behind Nick Marolf. Rolling off 4th, Tyler dropped four positions in the 50-lap affair logging an 8th place outing.

August 5, 2017 - Tyler Bruening Begins Week With World of Outlaws
Tuesday night found Tyler Bruening in action at Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway (Oshkosh, Wisconsin) for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series sanctioned program. With 36 Super Late Models signed in, Bruening posted a 7th place finish in his heat race transferring him into the B-Main. Needing a 3rd place finish or better to make the show, Tyler came up one spot short with a 4th place outing.

The following night brought Bruening to Shawano Speedway (Shawano, Wisconsin) for the World of Outlaws Series sanctioned Sun Drop Shootout. Following an 8th place finish in his heat race, Tyler secured his spot into the A-Main with a 4th place finish in his heat race. With $10,000 on the line, Tyler Bruening jumped up six positions in the 50-lapper to place 16th.

After Mother Nature wiped out the opening night of the 30th annual USA Nationals weekend on Thursday, Tyler returned to Cedar Lake Speedway (New Richmond, Wisconsin) on Friday evening. In a field of 42 cars, Bruening slipped up two positions in his heat race recording an 8th place finish. Needing to place in the Top 3 to make the $6,000-to-win opening night feature, Tyler came up two spots short with a 5th place finish.

Later on Friday evening after failing to record a lap in time trials, Bruening posted a 9th place finish in his heat race sending him into the B-Main on Saturday evening. Transferring the Top 3 into the $50,000-to-win finale, Tyler logged a 12th place finish giving him one final shot at the feature with a Last Chance Qualifier. With only the winner of the event making the show, Tyler Bruening’s night was over after registering a 9th place finish.
