| October 21, 2017 - Tyler Bruening Wins Final Night of Topless Weekend at Farley |
 Tyler Bruening was one of 27 Super Late Models signed in at Farley Speedway (Farley, Iowa) on Friday evening for the two-day Darkside Promotions Topless Night. Improving one spot in his heat, Tyler landed a 3rd place finish positioning him 12th on the starting grid for the opening night feature. Breaking into the Top 10, Bruening gained three spots reeling in a 9th place finish.
 Returning on Saturday, Tyler locked his spot into the main event with a heat race victory. Rolling off 7th for the A-Main, Tyler Bruening charged to his sixth win of the season in the feature topping Ryan Dolan, Jeremiah Hurst, Travis Smock, and Matt Ryan at the finish line. He was awarded a $1,000 payday for his A-Main triumph.

| October 1, 2017 - Bruening Competes in a Pair of LOLMDS Events in Georgia |
 Returning with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS), Tyler Bruening traveled to Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia) on Saturday night for the annual Dixie Shootout. In a field of 41 cars, Tyler secured his spot into the opening night feature with the 4th and final transfer spot in his heat. Earning the 16th-starting position, Bruening dropped one spot logging a 17th place finish.
The following night with 41 cars on hand at Rome Speedway (Rome, Georgia) for the Rome Showdown, Bruening came up one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 5th place finish. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the A-Main, Tyler posted a 2nd place finish behind Jason Croft positioning him 19th on the starting grid for the feature. With $12,000 on the line, Tyler Bruening posted a 22nd place finish.
