August 18, 2018 - Tyler Bruening Back in Victory Lane at IMS
Powering the Bruening Rock Products #16 Super Late Model entry, Tyler Bruening returned to Independence Motor Speedway (Independence, Iowa) on Saturday evening for the regular night of racing. Starting the feature in 6th, Tyler used a restart to his advantage as he blasted past the leader on the high-side en route to his seventh win of the season.

August 11, 2018 - Bruening Tallies Sixth Win of the Season at Independence Motor Speedway
Saturday night saw Tyler Bruening in action at Independence Motor Speedway (Independence, Iowa) displaying a brand-new wrap in memorial for a late-friend. Earning the 9th-starting position for the feature via preliminary events, Bruening charged through the field eight spots picking up his sixth win of the season.

August 4, 2018 - Top 10 Finish With World of Outlaws at Plymouth; Follows Series to Cedar Lake for USA Nationals
Tyler Bruening returned with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series on Monday night at Plymouth Dirt Track (Plymouth, Wisconsin) for the $10,000 top prize. In a field of 36 cars, Bruening logged a 7th place finish in his heat sending him into the B-Main. Coming one spot shy of a transfer position with a 4th place finish, Tyler was granted a provisional into the show. The following night at Shawano Speedway (Shawano, Wisconsin) for the Sun Drop Shootout, Bruening jumped up one spot in his heat to place 5th. Starting the feature in 10th, Tyler suffered a broken oil-pump belt on lap seven that ended his night early.

On Thursday evening the World of Outlaws returned to action at Cedar Lake Speedway (New Richmond, Wisconsin) for the 31st annual USA Nationals weekend. Drawing 45 Super Late Models for the three-day event, Bruening timed in 14th fastest in his qualifying group before placing 5th in his heat. Rolling off on the pole of his B-Main, Tyler scored a 2nd place finish behind Billy Moyer positioning him 20th on the starting grid for the $6,000-to-win preliminary feature. Jumping up one spot in the 40-lap affair, Tyler Bruening logged a 19th place outing.

The following night for two rounds of heat races, Tyler jumped up one spot in his first heat to place 4th. Passing one car in his second heat, Bruening logged a 4th place finish positioning him 19th in overall passing points.

Transferring into the B-Main on Saturday for another shot at the finale, Bruening streaked to a 15-lap consolation victory locking him into the 17th-starting position for the main event. With $50,000 on the line, Tyler dropped five spots in the 100-lapper to place 22nd after drawing a caution on lap-45.
