June 28, 2018 - Top 5 Finish With Deery Brother Summer Series at Benton County
Thursday night found Tyler Bruening in action at Benton County Speedway (Vinton, Iowa) for the Deery Brother Summer Series sanctioned contest. In a field of 33 cars, Bruening jumped up two spots in his heat to place 2nd behind John Emerson. Earning the 7th-starting position for the $2,000-to-win A-Main, Tyler passed three cars in the 50-lap affair reeling in a 4th place finish behind Jeremiah Hurst, Curt Martin, and Justin Kay with Andy Eckrich coming in 5th.

June 24, 2018 - Third Win of the Season for Tyler Bruening at Dubuque Speedway
Tyler Bruening returned to Independence Motor Speedway (Independence, Iowa) on Saturday evening competing in a field of 20 Super Late Models. Gaining three spots in his heat race, Tyler landed a 4th place finish positioning him 12th on the starting grid for the A-Main. Wheeling his way into a podium spot, Tyler Bruening gained nine positions in the 25-lapper to place 3rd behind Travis Smock and Sean Johnson with Jon Passick and Rory Metcalf completing the Top-5 finishers.

On Sunday night at Dubuque Speedway (Dubuque, Iowa), Tyler passed six cars in his heat to pick up the 10-lap victory. Earning the 3rd-starting position for the feature, Bruening topped the 15-car field registering his third win of the season. Jeremiah Hurst, John Emerson, Lyle Klein, and Joel Callahan trailed Tyler across the line in the 25-lap affair.

June 16, 2018 - Bruening Bags Second Win of the Season at Independence Motor Speedway
On Wednesday night Tyler Bruening invaded Peoria Speedway (Peoria, Illinois) for the opening night of the UMP DIRTcar Summernationals Hell Tour. With 38 Super Late Models registered in for action, Bruening fell two spots short of a transfer position in his heat with a 6th place finish. Needing a 2nd place finish or better in his B-Main to make the $5,000-to-win A-Main, Tyler logged a 5th place outing.

The following night at Kankakee County Speedway (Kankakee, Illinois), Tyler laid down the fourth fastest time in his qualifying group before landing a 4th place finish in his heat race locking his spot into the A-Main. After taking Friday night, Bruening returned to action on Saturday at Independence Motor Speedway (Independence, Iowa) for the regular night of racing. Earning the pole position for the feature via preliminary events, Tyler led flag-to-flag to capture his second win of the season.

June 9, 2018 - Tyler Bruening Attends Dirt Late Model Dream at Eldora
After bad weather pushed back Thursday’s opener to Friday, Tyler Bruening was one of 78 Super Late Models on hand at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Friday afternoon kicking off the 24th annual Dirt Late Model Dream. Holding his spot in his 10-lap heat, Bruening logged a 7th place finish transferring him into the B-Main. Needing to place in the Top 4 to make the preliminary feature, Tyler edged his way with the 4th and final transfer spot. With $5,000 on the line, Tyler Bruening gained two spots in the 25-lapper to place 22nd.

Later Friday night, Bruening fell two spots in his heat logging a 7th place finish. Transferring into the B-Main for one last shot at $10,000-to-win preliminary feature, Tyler fell short with a 10th place outing.

Wrapping up the 24th annual Dirt Late Model Dream on Saturday, Tyler posted a 6th place finish in his heat giving him one final shot at the $100,000-to-win finale with a B-Main appearance. Sending the Top 4 into the main event, Tyler came up two spots shy with a 6th place finish.

June 1, 2018 - Bruening Wins at Farley Speedway; Finishes 5th in Make-up Feature
Friday night brought Tyler Bruening to Farley Speedway (Farley, Iowa) for the regular night of racing along with a make-up feature from May 25th. Earning the 8th-starting position for the feature via preliminary events, Tyler topped to 16 car field in the 25-lapper to pick up his first win of the season. Jason Rauen, Jeff Tharp, Joel Callahan, and Andy Eckrich completed the Top-5 finishers.

For the Harry Bauer Memorial make-up feature from May 25th, Bruening reeled in a 5th place finish behind Andy Eckrich, Jeremiah Hurst, Johnny Emerson, and Jeff Tharp.
