September 30, 2018 - Top 5 Finish in Fall Haul at 34 Raceway
On Sunday Tyler Bruening invaded 34 Raceway (Burlington, Iowa) for the Fall Haul. Losing one spot in his 8-lap heat, Tyler recorded a 4th place finish locking him into the 7th-starting position for the A-Main. Breaking into the Top-5, Bruening gained three spots in the 20-lap affair to place 4th behind Jay Johnson, Nick Marolf, and Matt Ryan with Andy Nezworski coming in 5th.

September 21, 2018 - 5th Place Finish in Govenor's Cup at Davenport
On Friday evening Tyler Bruening traveled to Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) for the Governor’s Cup Iowa State Championship. With 41 Deery Brother Summer Series registered in for action, Tyler failed to make the show via his heat race sending him into the B-Main. Streaking to a consolation victory, Bruening locked into the 13th-starting position for the $2,000-to-win A-Main. Breaking into the Top-5, Tyler Bruening advanced through the field eight spots in the 40-lapper to place 5th behind Andy Nezworski, Justin Kay, Ryan Dolan, and Chuck Hanna.

September 15, 2018 - Top 10 Finish in Night Two of Knoxville Nationals
Tyler Bruening was one of 57 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries signed in at Knoxville Raceway (Knoxville, Iowa) on Thursday night for the 15th annual Knoxville Nationals. Losing one spot in his heat, Bruening logged a 7th place finish sending him into the C-Main. Capturing a 12-lap consolation victory, Tyler transferred to the tail of the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature. Needing to place 6th or better, Bruening came up short with a 22nd place outing.

On Friday night after coming in 13th fastest in his qualifying group, Bruening jumped up two spots in his heat race to place 2nd behind Matt Furman. Wrapping up the 15th annual Knoxville Nationals on Saturday, Tyler had already locked into the 14th-starting position for the $40,000-to-win finale. Bringing on a caution on lap-47, Bruening salvaged a 17th place outing in the 100-lap affair.

September 6, 2018 - Bruening Attends World 100 at Eldora Speedway
Thursday night found Tyler Bruening in action at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) kicking off the 48th annual World 100. Drawing a stout field of 101 Super Late Models for a pair of preliminary features, Tyler recorded a 7th place finish in his heat transferring him into the B-Main. Needing a 2nd place finish or better to make the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Bruening fell short with a 11th place outing.  

Friday and Saturday's program was postponed by Mother Nature to October 12th and 13th.
