February 10, 2020 - Bruening Attends Opening Night of DIRTcar Nationals
1Tyler Bruening was one of 44 DIRTcar Late Models on hand at Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida) on Monday afternoon for the 49th annual DIRTcar Nationals. After recording the fastest lap in his time trial group, Bruening recorded a 3rd place finish in his heat which positioned him 12th on the starting grid for the opening night feature. With $7,000 on the line, Tyler made hard contact with the wall on lap 13 that sent him pitside. He was credited with a 21st place outing.

February 9, 2020 - 10th Place Finish in Fifth Round of Winternationals
1On Monday evening Tyler Bruening followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) to East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Florida) for the 44th annual Wrisco Winternationals. Drawing 62 cars for the six-day event, Bruening fell short of a transfer position in both his heat and B-Main sending him into the Berry Barn Strawberry Dash. Failing to place 2nd or better, Tyler was granted a provisional into the A-Main. With $5,000 on the line, Tyler Bruening passed eight cars to register a 21st place outing.

The following night, Tyler came in 7th in his heat before placing 4th in his B-Main. Logging a 7th place outing in the Strawberry Dash, Bruening was forced to rely on a provisional into the main event. For the third round of the Wrisco Winternationals on Wednesday afternoon, Bruening broke a motor in time trials that prevented him from making it out for his heat race. Receiving a provisional into the $7,000-to-win A-Main, Tyler improved 15 spots in the 40-lapper to place 15th.

On Thursday evening, Tyler followed up a 7th place finish in his heat with a 7th place finish in his B-Main. Relying on a provisional into the main event, Bruening gained eight positions to reel in a 19th place outing.

After coming one spot shy of a transfer position in his heat on Friday with a 4th place finish, Bruening recorded a 2nd place finish in his B-Main, sending him into the Berry Barn Strawberry Dash. Registering a 3rd place finish, Tyler locked into the 23rd-starting position for the $12,000-to-win A-Main. Wheeling his way into the Top-10, Tyler Bruening improved 13 spots in the 50-lap affair to place 10th.

Wrapping up the 44th annual Wrisco Winternationals on Saturday evening, Tyler edged his way into the $12,000-to-win finale with the 3rd and final transfer spot in his heat race. Dropping five spots in the 50-lapper, Bruening logged an 18th place finish.

On Sunday afternoon Tyler stopped at All-Tech Raceway (Lake City, Florida) for the $10,000-to-win Winter Nationals. In a field of 34 LOLMDS entries, Bruening made hard contact with the wall in his heat that sidelined him from the remainder of the evening.

February 1, 2020 - Skyline Motorsports Begins 2020 Season at Golden Isles
After losing Friday night’s opener to bad weather, Tyler Bruening returned to Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Georgia) on Saturday night to kick off the 2020 season with the RhinoAg Super Bowl of Racing. In a field of 45 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries, Tyler followed up the seventh fastest lap in his time trial group with a 3rd place finish in his heat.
