June 27, 2020 - Bruening follows LOLMDS to 411 and Talladega
1On Friday afternoon Tyler Bruening was one of 38 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries on hand at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) for the Tennessee’s Action Track 50. Following an eighth place finish in his heat, Bruening logged a seventh place outing in his B-Main, forcing him to rely on a provisional into the opening night feature. With $12,000 on the line, Tyler passed eight cars in the 50-lapper to place 19th.

The following night at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) for the EZ-Go 50, Tyler posted a seventh place finish in his heat, sending him into the B-Main. Failing to place third or better, Bruening was granted a provisional into the $12,000-to-win finale. Gaining eight spots in the 50-lap affair, Tyler Bruening recorded a 16th place finish.

June 20, 2020 - Tyler Bruening begins Clash at the Mag
1Following the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS), Tyler Bruening headed to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) on Thursday evening for the three-day General Tire Clash at the Mag. In a stout field of 55 cars, Tyler came three spots short of a transfer position in his heat with a sixth place finish. Needing a second place finish or better in his B-Main to make the preliminary feature, Bruening fell one spot shy with a third place outing.

With preliminary results on Thursday and Friday night setting the grid for the $15,000-to-win Clash at the Mag on Saturday evening, Tyler fell short of a transfer position in his B-Main with a third place finish. Earning a provisional into the main event, Tyler Bruening gained 11 spots in the 100-lapper to place 17th.

June 14, 2020 - Runner-up finish with Lucas Oil MLRA at West Liberty
1Tyler Bruening was one of 37 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries on hand at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) on Friday night for the 22nd annual Grassy Smith Memorial. Grabbing the fourth and final transfer spot in his heat, Bruening locked into the 14th-starting position for the opening night feature. Jumping up three spots in the 50-lap affair, Tyler recorded an 11th place finish.

On Saturday evening at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) for the Mountain Moonshine Classic, Tyler fell short of a transfer position in his heat with an eighth place finish, transferring him into the B-Main. Coming in third, Bruening earned the 22nd-starting position for the finale. With $15,000 on the line, Bruening passed three cars in the 60-lapper to place 19th.

Sunday afternoon saw Bruening enter the Lucas Oil Midwest LateModel Racing Association (MLRA) sanctioned contest at West Liberty Raceway (West Liberty, Iowa). Starting the night off with a heat race victory, Bruening secured his spot into the $5,000-to-win A-Main. Rolling off third, Tyler jumped up one spot in the 30-lapper to register a runner-up finish behind Billy Moyer with Tony Jackson Jr., Tony Toste, and Mitch McGrath rounding out the Top-5.
